April 1, 2024: AAIP changed its fees. See the new fee schedule for details.

As of April 1, 2024, the AAIP is aligning its fees to match service delivery costs. AAIP fees are intended to cover the operational cost of these programs. Increases apply to the following AAIP assessments:application fees for the worker streams and the farm streamfees for post-nomination services Business Performance Agreement changes There is also a new fee to submit an Expression of Interest under the AAIP’s entrepreneur streams.Learn more: Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) Fee schedule.

Eligibility changes for international students with a job offer

The regulations that govern the OINP have been amended to expand eligibility for international students. These changes include expanding eligibility to students who have obtained a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate.

Ontario’s 2023 nomination allocation reached

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has reached its 2023 nomination allocation. The program issued a total of 16,500 nominations to successful applicants across all streams in 2023.
